Location was good. Just next to Echo Point and the bus stop if you dont arrive with car. Staff were very friendly and we were lucky that they had arranged for breakfast the next morning (we had to pay). Normally they dont offer that and they have a sister hotel in town which is 2 km away, where you can buy breakfast. So it made it a lot easier for us on our second day to get straight to the trails. The area is stunning and breathtaking! Rooms were good. We had a large and modern one. Bathroom a bit small but amazing shower. There was a bit dirty some places with spider web and eventhough it seemed newly renovated, we still were surprised how quickly it can look worn out. Bed was comfy and nice with a fridge as well. All in all super great value for the money and we would definetely return and recommend this cute little place.

Excellent location and value for a short stay! We stayed at Echo Point Discovery Motel for one night on 5 April and really enjoyed the convenience of its location. It’s just a short walk to the Three Sisters, Echo Point lookout and several scenic walking trails around the cliffs. Perfect spot if you’re looking to explore the Blue Mountains without needing to drive everywhere. The room was basic but clean and comfortable—ideal for a short trip. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Great value for money given how close it is to all the key attractions. Would definitely recommend for anyone after a budget-friendly stay in a prime location!

The location, size and cleanliness of our room was perfect for a mum and 2 young children. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was a decent size. After our first night, we were able to walk down to Echo Point and begin our bushwalk from there. The inclusion of a microwave made eating dinners on a budget very easy to do as well. Being able to connect to the wifi also meant that we could stream our favourite shows and movies on our laptop (our room happened to be one with an older TV in it).

Across the road there is a bus stop to take you to Scenic World (Main cable car+rail train station), Katoomba Falls picnic area and Cascade Waterfall that leads you to other cliff walk. - Queen bed is comfy, sofa bed is doubly large, clean shower, very quiet - Free car park on site right in front of our room - Friendly staff, great communication during booking for confirmation

A minor maintenance problem (door lock and broken light) was rectified immediately upon advising reception. Great location, close to Echo Point, Scenic World and main street of Katoomba. Very clean. Comfortable beds, modern, fresh decor. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Separate bedroom for adults
